My friend Gina accompanied her husband to a basketball game in Oxford, MS.  She took her two children into the hallway with her to let them run around while he watched the game.  This is from Gina’s own mouth…

And to her surprise a group of young ladies who were possibly in the 5th grade surrounded her.  They bombarded her with questions.  One in particular, a cute girl in bright pink she seemed to scrutinize her every move and facial expression.  Upon closer inspection she decided to ask her a question

“Are those your kids?” Which was then followed with “What grade are you in?”

My friend then exclaimed “I’M MARRIED!”

And then she said “Oh, so you’re in high school?”

My friend, a little mortified said “No, I’m married to Mr. Dewitt”

The girl then ended the conversation with a  “That’s just wrong.”

Gotta’ love Mississippi.
