Hello!  Have you guys recovered from last weekend?  I’m not sure I have 100% yet!  I feel like sleeping through the next week!

Now, if this is your first time at Mommyish.net I want to tell you about my EVIL PLANS FOR THE FUTURE!    Currently if you click on the Freebies category you can pull up the majority of my past freebies.  The links should work (mostly)  I also am working on a side page to put up all the former facebook kit freebies!  (As direct downloads) So keep your eyes open for that!  Lastly I plan on putting up a tutorial page so you guys don’t have to travel over to youtube to watch what is relevant to what you are looking for!  Genvieve made much such a gorgeous site and it is about time I took 100% advantage of it!

Now, what is new for this week?  Lets start with the Personal Use stuff!  I have a mini-kit out called “Got Schooled” (Yeah, I’m not too clever when it comes to kit names) Which is an add on to the Get Schooled Kit/Collection for graduation!  It is on sale at %30 off through the weekend making it only $3.50!  I love how it turned out and love even more the layouts my CT and the P&Co CT made for me!!

Now let me go ahead and offer up the freebie I made to go along with this!  It is an alpha that really could be used with almost any layout.  It contains lowercase, numbers & symbols.  I created this layout using Stylin’#77 – leather styles & Ultimate Stitching Action.

Now for some fun!  How can you use these styles to their full potential?  Perhaps you already have ideas brimming!  I used Just Jaimee’s Ready, Set Splatter Brushes for the preview, they work FANTASTICALLY with this set!

As you can see this styleset is super fun and can be used time and time again.  Now for a little PU freebie, nothing big, just an alpha made using the font I made with my title!  Included are alpha sheets with the shaded and unshaded versions.

I want to first off apologize for not updating my blog nearly enough.  With social media being how it is it seems I can keep in touch much better through facebook stalking than my blog.  Actually, as I read through my blog I realize that usually I am super formal, which is totally not me (if you know me at all) I am not formal.. I’m the opposite  I’m pretty much a huge dork!  That being said I have this gorgeous blog here and I intend on using it more often.  By more often I may mean even more than once a month..

So the new year is starting off pretty good here in New York.. snow and such.  I’m pretty sure I’m the only person in the whole state that gets ridiculously excited about it.  But if you came form a state where it RARELY snowed (Mississippi) then you would get super insanely happy about it as well.  Plus I totally have shunned shoveling so.. yeah.  Some of you may or may not know that I struggle with a Panic/Anxiety disorder.  At times this causes me to retreat into a little cave of solitude  (Ok, that is a nice way of me saying I become a total and complete recluse!)  Unfortunately the past week or so has made that happen and I’ve been reluctant to really do much of anything.  Thankfully I have a great family who drags me kicking and screaming… onward!  So here I am and believe it or not I’ve gotten some really great things accomplished this month!  So lets start with what is new with Mommyish!

As of the end of January I am stepping down from Oscraps.com and moving to a new store to house my PU kits and goodies.  I plan on being much less frequent with kit releases (As you’ve probably already noticed) and focus more on CU actions & styles.  I love creating but I think this change will be for the better.  When I have more details about the switch over I promise to let you all know.. but for now it will remain a semi-secret.

At the start of February I am also starting a brand new venture!!  This is something I am super excited about and I think you will be too!  It deals with CU at SugarHillCo.. so when that goes down I promise to shout it from the rooftops!

Ok.. now on to the BUY MY STUFF portion of the blog. HA!

New this week is a collab with Pink Reptile Designs.. which can I just say I was so so so super excited that she even wanted to collab with me!  Honestly have you seen her kits?  They are AMAZINK!

So this kit is meant to help you scrap all year long!  Great for all occasions I am sure you will all ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!  (Because I said you will, dang it!)

Isn’t it so beautiful?!  *Gobbles it up*  Our CT’s totally went overboard and made the most amazing layouts EVER!!!!  (loads of them too) Here is a sampling of them

Yeah, it was worth it!  How cute is this, huh?  I plan on doing a series of different embroidered thingies.  It’ll be awesome!  I think the next set is going to be tattoo style!

Next up is some delicious heart goodness.  First is a mixed up set with 10 different heart elements and the second is a set of styles to help you make your own conversation hearts!
